Saltmere Point
A reclaimed estuary wharf, now a boardwalk, a tidal basin and a stepped terrace of residences.
Saltmere was a salt wharf, then a boatyard, then nothing for twenty years. The current masterplan keeps the tidal basin and the line of the old quay and puts everything new behind a public boardwalk.
The estuary is the point. It is wide, it is shallow, the light moves across it all day, and the bird counts in winter are the highest on this coast.

Tidal range
The basin empties on a spring low. Every residence is specified above the modelled 1-in-200-year level; the flood report is in the data room.
Phasing
The boardwalk and basin are complete. Residences complete in two phases; ask your advisor which units sit in which.
