Cala Verdana
A short limestone headland of terraced gardens, pine and very deep water.
Cala Verdana is a single road that drops from the coast highway through olive terraces to a headland of low pines. There are eleven houses on the seaward side and there have been eleven houses on the seaward side since the 1970s, because the terracing will not take a twelfth.
It is not a resort. The bakery opens at seven and closes when the bread is gone, the harbour has room for fourteen boats, and the beach below the headland is reached on foot. What the address buys is orientation: every plot on the seaward side faces open water with nothing behind it but hillside.

Building constraints
The headland sits inside a coastal protection line. Extensions are possible within the existing footprint; new terracing is not.
Light
The seaward plots face broadly north-west, which gives long evening light on the terraces and keeps interiors cool through the middle of the day.
